One of the historical mosques in the city of Nablus, which is located to the west of the old city in the Kasbah neighborhood in particular. It was previously called the Western Mosque, and since the seventeenth century it has been called the Hanbali Mosque. This mosque is characterized by its historic, archaeological stone building with internal arches and vaulted ceiling, while from the outside it is characterized by a simple traditional building of stone with a prominent green dome. This mosque is frequented by a large number of worshipers and visitors, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
