The city of Ain Touta is considered one of the most important cities in Algeria, whose name was derived from the source that was found in front of a mulberry tree, and thus became Ain Al-Touta. The city was characterized by a distinctive natural environment, which included valleys and fertile plains, and the city also contains many important neighborhoods such as the Mujahideen neighborhood and the old station neighborhood, which is one of the oldest Moroccan neighborhoods at all.
