The mausoleum of Ahmad Hani, born in 1651 and died in 1707, is a Kurdish writer, astronomer, poet, historian, and Islamic scholar who lived in the seventeenth century. Dogubayazit Municipality built a mosque in 1990 near the tomb. The tomb is located 8 kilometers from Dogubayazit, near Ishak Pasha Palace. The tomb of Ahmed Hani is also the most visited shrine in the region.
