In 2016, Alicante City Council declared Agua Amarga Beach as a dog friendly beach, an exciting project for pet lovers, where they can go with their animals and have a fun day. The beach is located in the south of Alicante, it is about 250 meters long and 50 meters wide, and consists of Pebbles, golden sand, moderate waves and rocky bottoms, and includes a range of guide signs, and provides many services.
