It is located in India , adjacent to the gardens of the Taj Mahal and is a very important monument dating back to the seventeenth century Mughal. It is a powerful fortress built of red sandstone that includes in its 2.5 km sanctuary the royal city consisting of many imaginary palaces such as Jahangir Palace, and two magnificent mosques. The castle was built in the year 1080, and it was the seat of government for the Mughal ruler Jalaluddin Akbar, who built it after he consolidated his authority after coming to power, and the castle was considered a strategic military point. The castle was built in the shape of a crescent , and it is flat on the eastern side with long, straight walls facing the river. The buildings of this complex are distinguished by their diversity in terms of architectural style.
