The Sheikh Abdullah bin Zaid Islamic Cultural Center is one of the most prominent tourist attractions in Doha. It is also known as the Al-Fanar Center, in relation to the Al-Fanar Mosque, which is affiliated to it. It is considered one of the largest mosques in the country, and is characterized by its unique minaret and distinctive architectural design. It is one of the most important cultural centers in the country. It was named after the famous Islamic researcher who founded the Qatari judicial system, Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud. The center organizes a range of cultural activities, publishes Islamic studies, and includes a library.
