Ah Taberna is one of the most famous restaurants in Coimbra. It has a local delicacy, especially veal and crispy homemade bread served with ricotta cheese as an appetizer. One of the best features of this restaurant is that the waiters bring a selection of six side dishes to the table for you to choose from. Among them, including three types of vegetables, the dining area is rather small, intimate and simply decorated.
