Located in a crowded square north of the mall, 2 Ermaus, whose name in Arabic translates to "The Two Brothers", is Faro's oldest restaurant and one of the oldest in Portugal. It was once an old blacksmith's shop. It became a popular restaurant for its light meals throughout the Algarve, and today, the restaurant features beautiful azulejo tiles with wooden décor giving it a traditional Portuguese feel, where you can try the best of local and Mediterranean dishes, including steamed oysters, barnacles and mackerel, as well as the grilled daily catch.
