Pula overlooks the Adriatic Sea on the Istrian Peninsula. The climate of this city is suitable for tourism throughout the year, especially in summer. This city is considered a historical city par excellence, and it still preserves ancient monuments, the most important of which are the Roman Pula Amphitheater, which is in the middle of the old city and can accommodate 20,000 people, and the Temple of Augustus, which is the most important preserved Roman temple. During the summer, the city holds several concerts and music and film festivals, which attract tourists from all over the world to enjoy this wonderful and fun atmosphere. The city also includes a large number of diverse natural attractions, most notably beaches, secluded bays, olive groves, pine trees, and gardens that contain rare and endangered plant species. Tourists can shop in Pula Central Market, which includes traditional and new stores and has everything needed for tourists while they are in the city.
