The city of Pskov is located in northwestern Russia, only 30 km from Estonia, and it is one of the pearls of ancient Russia. The year 903 AD, making it one of the oldest and most original Russian cities. It contains a large group of unique ancient historical and architectural monuments built in a distinct style called the Pskov style. This style gives a true picture of Russian culture in the period from the 11th to the 18th century. One of the most important of these is the Kremlin, where inside the crumbling walls of the Kremlin is the magnificent Trinity Cathedral, and Pskov also retains many of the outer medieval city walls, crowded Picturesque small churches with great examples of Byzantine architecture. In addition to this, the city has all the wonderful tourist facilities such as restaurants, cafes, hotels, parks, and many unparalleled natural features.
