Medellin is the capital of the mountainous province of Antioquia and is the second largest city in Colombia after Bogotá. It is nicknamed the "City of Eternal Spring" because of its mild weather and hosts the famous annual flower festival. Modern carriages connect the city to the surrounding neighborhood and overlook the Abura Valley. Sculptures by Fernando Botero adorn Botero Square in the city center while the Museo de Antioquia displays the work of Colombian artists. The city's streets are also characterized by graffiti art, which gives it a distinctive and unique character. The city is famous for its delicious local cuisine, its natural attractions, and its many cultural activities that you can do such as hiking, horse riding, and mountain gliding. Among these attractions are; Antigua Museum, Medellin Museum of Modern Art, Castle Museum, Tayrona Garden, which contains rare animals and distinctive plants, and other attractions that suit all tourists.
