14 May 2023

The Saudi Electronic Visa (also known as “eVisa”) is an electronic system that allows travelers to obtain a visa to enter the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia online instead of through traditional application methods. This service was launched in September 2019 to facilitate and expedite the process of obtaining a visa for foreign visitors.
The Saudi e-Visa is issued for several types of visas, such as the tourist visa, commercial visa, and family visit visa. Travelers who wish to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia can apply through the official e-Visa website, fill out the required form, submit the necessary documents, and pay the visa fees online.
After submitting and approving the electronic visa, it is issued in electronic form and sent to the traveler via email. The traveler must print the electronic visa and bring it with him during his trip to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as it will be necessary to enter the country and examine the passport at entry points.
The Saudi e-Visa was launched as part of the Kingdom’s efforts to promote tourism, facilitate travel procedures, and increase the tourist presence in the country.
