Saudis exempted from Türkiye visa
A presidential decree was issued in the Turkish Official Gazette on December 23, 2023, allowing Saudi citizens wishing to visit Turkey for tourism purposes to enter the country without the need to obtain a prior visa.
The Turkish presidential decree also allows waiving the payment of any fees for a period of up to 90 days for various types of visas for Saudis wishing to enter Turkey, and this decision remains in effect until further notice.
The decree also announced the possibility of entering Turkey without a prior visa for a period of 180 days, in addition to the absence of any other requirements other than providing a Saudi passport valid for a period of at least three months.
The decision to exempt Saudi citizens from issuing an entry visa to Turkey includes all age groups, including infants and children, in addition to the various categories of passports for Saudis, whether ordinary or diplomatic passports.
