South Korea visa for Egyptians

The conditions for traveling to South Korea are among the most important points that must be considered before traveling there, and without meeting these conditions, travelers may not be able to enter the country. Type of visa and documents required to obtain a South Korean visa


1. Tourist visa and transit visa:

- Visa fee: 40 US dollars.

- Required Documents:

  • Fill out the visa application form via the link available here .

  • Attach a personal photo of 3.5 x 4.5 cm size.

  • A passport valid for at least 6 months and containing two blank pages, along with a copy of it.

  • A letter from the employer, a commercial register, or a registration certificate (in English).

  • Bank statement for the last 6 months with a stamp from the Central Bank of Egypt.

  • Trip program in Korea.

  • Airline ticket booking.

  • Hotel booking.


note:
Any additional documents that strengthen the application can be attached, such as photos or certificates that indicate the applicant’s interest in Korean culture and participation in Korean cultural events in Egypt, and may help enhance the chances of admission.


2. Visa to attend a conference/forum:

- Visa fee: 40 US dollars.

- Required Documents:

  • Fill out the visa application form and sign it via the link available here .

  • A personal photo measuring 3.5 x 4.5 cm.

  • A passport valid for at least 6 months and containing two blank pages, along with a copy of it.

  • Bank statement for the last 6 months with a stamp from the Central Bank of Egypt (in an amount of no less than 5,000 US dollars or its equivalent in Egyptian currency), with a stamp from the Central Bank of Egypt.

  • Invitation from the organizing body in South Korea (the application form to attend the conference/forum is not considered sufficient).

  • A letter from the employer in English (or a commercial register).

  • A round-trip flight ticket with a photocopy.

  • Hotel reservation, provided that the date of hotel reservation matches the date of the travel ticket, along with a photocopy of it.


3. Work visa (business meeting):

- Visa fee: 40 US dollars.

- Required Documents:

  • Fill out and sign the visa application form via the link available here .

  • A personal photo measuring 3.5 x 4.5 cm.

  • A passport valid for at least 6 months and containing two blank pages, along with a copy of it.

  • Bank statement for the last 6 months with a stamp from the Central Bank of Egypt (in an amount of no less than 5,000 US dollars or its equivalent in Egyptian currency), with a stamp from the Central Bank of Egypt.

  • A certified copy of the invitation letter from South Korea , including a copy of the commercial registry of the inviting company and the sponsoring company’s guarantee letter for the invited person, in addition to a copy of the inviting person’s residence if he is not Korean.

  • A copy of the commercial register of the Egyptian company (or a letter from the employer in English if the applicant is an employee of the company).

  • A copy of the bill of lading.

  • A round-trip flight ticket with a photocopy.

  • Hotel reservation, provided that the date of hotel reservation matches the date of the travel ticket, along with a photocopy of it.


4. Study visa (study visa):

- Visa fee: 60 US dollars.

- Required Documents:

  • Fill out the visa application form and sign it via the link available here .

  • A personal photo measuring 3.5 x 4.5 cm.

  • A passport valid for at least 6 months and containing two blank pages, along with a copy of it.

  • Acceptance certificate from a Korean university (acceptance certificate).

  • The last original qualification certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

  • Bank statement for the last 6 months with a stamp from the Central Bank of Egypt (if the student is not a beneficiary of a scholarship covering the full costs).

  • A copy of the university’s commercial register.

  • An initial flight ticket (taking into account that the visa issuance process may take 15 days).


the conditions :

  1. In the event of refusal to issue a visa, the submitted documents and fees will not be refunded.

  2. The visa issuance period takes two full weeks (10 working days) from the date of submitting the visa application.


Working hours are as follows:

  • from Sunday to Thursday.

  • Application period: from 9 am to 12 noon.

  • Period for receiving papers: from 1 pm to 3 pm.
