The ETA allows individuals to travel to the UK via aircraft, and its role is to enhance oversight and ensure compliance with the laws and regulations set by the UK.

An ETA request can be submitted quickly and easily online, the form takes less than 15 minutes to fill out, and requests are processed and responded to within just 78 hours.

When to use this permit

This permit is effective from October 2023 for Qatari citizens, followed by the remaining GCC countries and Jordan in February 2024.
