Greece visa for Egyptians, conditions and requirements for obtaining a visa

To obtain an entry visa to Greece as an Egyptian citizen, some basic conditions and requirements must be met. Please note that the following information may be subject to change, so it is best to check the latest information from the Greek Embassy or the official visa services website before applying. Below are some general conditions and basic requirements:

Make sure to sign and fill out the visa application form completely.
Submit 2 recent personal photos with a white background, and ensure that they are not more than 6 months old.
Make sure the passport is valid and has at least two blank pages. The passport must be valid for no less than 3 months and must not have been issued for more than 10 years. Do not forget to sign your passport.
You must provide proof of accommodation and your on-time return by booking a hotel and return air tickets.
Buy an insurance policy that covers your travel period.
The amount of the insurance policy depends on the length of stay and must not be less than 30,000 euros.

Reasons for visiting.
There is proof of your return before the expiration of the visa period.
Bank statement for the last 6 months (must be printed at most 7 days before submission).
An employment letter containing:
- Name and address of the employer.
- Vocabulary salary.
- The duration of absence from work for the purpose of travel and the purpose of the travel.
- Work start date.
The fee for obtaining a Greek visa is 80 euros.
Children under 6 years old as well as some students are exempt from payment.
If the visa application is rejected, the amount paid cannot be refunded.
The Greek visa processing time takes about 15 days but may be longer and up to 60 days.
If your application is rejected, you can then file an appeal against the rejection decision by:
Receive a visa rejection form that explains the reasons for rejection and the steps that must be followed to conduct an appeal.
Submit an appeal to the same consulate that issued the rejection decision (within 3 weeks from the date of rejection).
