Bosnia visa for Saudis - all the details!

It was announced on July 5, 2023 that citizens of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be exempted from the need to obtain an entry visa to Bosnia and Herzegovina during the summer season, specifically from July 7, 2023 until October 1, 2023.

The Bosnian Ministry of Foreign Affairs submitted a proposal in this regard to the Council of Ministers, and based on this proposal, the Bosnian Council of Ministers issued a decision to exempt holders of regular Saudi Arabia passports coming for tourist, commercial or personal purposes from entry visa to Bosnia and Herzegovina for a period of up to 30 days during the period mentioned.

Despite this exemption, upon arrival in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the traveler must provide the following:

1. Round trip flight reservation.
   
   
2. Confirmed hotel reservation.
   
   
3. A document confirming financial competence.

Tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina is considered one of the wonderful tourist destinations in the Balkan region, as it combines stunning natural landscapes of mountains and rivers with a rich and diverse history. Saudi citizens wishing to travel to Bosnia during this period for the purpose of tourism, business, or personal visits must secure health insurance, a prepaid tourism program, and book a return ticket. While those wishing to travel for business purposes or personal visits need an invitation letter approved by the Department of Foreigners Affairs in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Bosnian Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised this exemption from entry visas for Saudi citizens, stressing that this decision will enhance economic cooperation and contribute to enhancing tourism and developing bilateral relations between the two countries.
