The Temple of Our Lady of Pineda is dominated by a huge rock 300 meters high, which gives the site a sacred feel and creates a unique religious atmosphere. With a statue on top representing Our Lady of the Incarnation, and in the first week of September every year, hundreds of pilgrims from all over Portugal flock to this temple to perform the pilgrimage.
