The Roman Bridge of Cava da Velha rises over the Laborero River in the heart of the Peneda Gerais National Park. It was originally built around the 1st century, then underwent a series of restorations and renovations during the Middle Ages, and was converted into a bridge with a slab and two arches. He glimpsed it on the quay of large slabs and stone barriers connecting the two sides of the river to each other.
