Information about Szinva Terrace
Zinfa Square is the newest public square in the center of Miskolc, located alongside the Zinfa stream that runs through the city. It was established in the fall of 2005 on the site of a former car park as part of a downtown rebuilding project, and opened to the public in November of that year . The square consists of terraces, stairs leading to the watercourse, a small artificial waterfall, and lamps lit in the evening. One of the highlights of the square is the statue of the Miskolc girls, in which three young girls appear on a bench, made by the sculptor László Kutas, and there is also Another statue nearby, a statue of Manx, the famous rescue dog, has recently shown love locks on the fence of a small bridge at the western end of the square.
