Şırinci is a tourist village with preserved historical architecture, connected to the Selcuk district of Izmir and located 8 km from it. In the nineteenth century, this village was known as a Greek town of 1,800 families, especially famous for exporting figs in 1923 AD, and as a result of the Turkish-Greek population exchange, when the Greeks left, it was settled by Turkish refugees, and the village economy, which was based in Previous to viticulture, wine production and olive cultivation, but these sectors began to develop again in parallel with the increasing tourism importance in recent years.
