The Serra das Midas Biological Park is located about 7 km from the center of Lamego and extends over an area of 50 hectares. It is an educational center dedicated to the protection of the environment and biodiversity established by the city council in a former waste land, where today it is possible to explore different types of local flora and fauna Some are in cages and some are free-living, and many bird species come to this covered area for nesting.
