Established in 1966 by Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza, the internationally recognized and popular haven for locals and tourists alike, the pools have proven themselves as one of Siza's greatest innovative works and an example of his meticulous compatibility Between nature and modern design. The complex consists of dressing rooms, a café and two swimming pools, one for adults and one for children. It is located between the Atlantic Ocean and the road that follows the coast, but it is almost completely out of sight.
