Tiano Gong Mazu Temple is of great importance to fishermen as it is the first and oldest temple dedicated to the Chinese sea goddess Mazu in Taiwan. The entrance includes a statue of the sea goddess in its main hall, in addition to statues of various animals such as lions and dragons, and a three-star figure representing luck, wealth and long life. The temple is distinguished by its ancient archaeological character, which is evident in its interior design, sculptures, paintings and mosaics, which are given by time and incense ash an antique aesthetic touch.
