The roaring streams, or what is also known as the Fayoum streams, are a system to raise the level of water and filter it in the Nile River, where the rotating wheels purify the water and remove the floating dirt in it, and the age of the streams is estimated at 2000 years, making it one of the evidence of the Ptolemaic civilization in Egyptian history.
